Looking for a Roommate

I've just found a great two bedroom apartment in a Park Slope brownstone (right near the 2/3 and the B/Q), and am looking for a roommate. The room is big, sunny, and quiet (it faces backyards). It has parquet floors, a closet, and a mantelpiece. The rest of the apartment consists of a large living/dining room, a rather small galley kitchen, a modern bathroom, and two small rooms (for me). The landing is all ours (for shoes, umbrellas, & whatnot). There are only two other apartments in the brownstone, and the entrance is lovely — very Victorian, all wallpaper and wood panelling. move in date: as soon as possible.

I'm a teacher/tutor (female, 31), out from the late morning/early afternoon through the evening most days in the week. I'm friendly and easy-going. In my free time I read, write, and hang out with friends. Looking for a friendly, responsible, fairly quiet person who doesn't smoke or watch a ton of television.

Here's the property listing for pictures: http://www.corcoran.com/property/listing.aspx?Region=NYC&ListingID=951451 (If the link stops working, I can e-mail you pictures.) The room in question is the one in pictures 8 and 9. It has a separate entrance. The neighborhood is wonderful — great restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, the park a couple of blocks away, subway lines galore.

If this interests you, please contact me and we can set up a time for you to view the apartment. Rent: 1325 (includes heating and water) Contact: gabriella.gruder-poni@merton.oxon.net 646-644-6934
